FIFA Talent Coach for Ghana Stuart McLaren and FIFA Scout Expert Franklin Shillingford held a crucial engagement session with the coaches of the regional U15 teams following Match Day 3 of the ongoing Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship. The meeting formed part of FIFA’s commitment to talent development and technical support for youth competitions across member associations.

Also in attendance was Director of the GFA Elite Academies Joseph Tetteh Zutah as well as the two assistant coaches of Ghana’s U15 Boys National Team, Mubarak Sumaila Gardo and Daniel Nii Adjei, who joined the discussions to share insights on player development and to align with the technical vision for Ghana’s youth football.

The deliberations touched on important aspects of the tournament, including player performance, player confidence, and ways to enhance the development pathways for young footballers.

The session provided a platform for coaches to exchange ideas, receive expert guidance, and raise key issues on the ongoing championship.

With the competition already producing high-quality matches and standout talents, the meeting is expected to further strengthen the technical foundation of the tournament while ensuring that promising players are identified and nurtured for the future of Ghana football.
