The Black Meteors will open camping in Accra on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, to begin preparations for their U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers scheduled for the September/October window.
The underlisted players are to report to the Erata Hotel at East Legon at 4pm. This is just the local component of the team as camping arrangements will be made for foreign-based U23 players.
The U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers will begin in the September window, but Ghana will draw a bye and start the qualifiers in October with CAF yet to announce the pairings for the qualifiers.
This group of players, drawn from Premier and Division One League Clubs are expected to form the base of the team as Coach Desmond Ofei begins Ghana’s journey for an African glory that would also serve as the Qualifiers for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
