Following a 2-0 loss to South Africa and a 1-1 draw with Mali in Group C, Ghana needs a win on Monday to stay in contention.
Head coach Kim Björkegren acknowledged the team’s mixed emotions after the previous match, saying, “We worked hard for three points, so we were disappointed with just one point. But getting at least one point was important, and now everything is in our own hands.”
Despite the challenges, Coach Björkegren remains optimistic, highlighting the team’s attacking prowess and potential.
