While Chelsea pip Young Apostles, FC Samartex, Dreams FC, Nations FC, and Aduana FC ran riot over Debiso Soccer Lions, Asanska FC, FC AshantiGold ’04, and Berekum Arsenal, respectively.

In Sameraboi, Osman Zakaria and Benedict Afful scored a brace each, while Godwin Sefah, Ronald Grippman, Felix Koduah Jnr, and Solomon Agyei got on the score sheet as FC Samartex 1996 demolished lower-tier side Debiso Soccer Lions 9-1 at the Nsekyire Sports Arena. The Premier League side got off to a flying start as they opened the scoring in the third minute of the match through Osman Zakaria. Solomon Agyei and Ronald Grippman scored in succession in the 8th and 14th minutes, as the Sameraboi lads took a commanding lead in front of the teeming fans. Felix Koduah Jnr and Godwin Sefah added to the tally to make it 5-0 before the half-time whistle.

Debiso Soccer Lions scored a consolation in the 88th minute through Kingsley Arthur, but it was too little to change the outcome of the game as FC Samartex cruised into the next stage of the MTN FA Cup.

Elsewhere at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Nations FC scored three first-half goals to condemn FC AshantiGold ’04 to a 3-0 defeat. Brandon Antwi scored the opener in the 8th minute before Emmanuel Annor netted in the 10th and 19th minutes of the match.

2023 champions, Dreams FC, beat lower-tier side Asanka FC 2-0, thanks to goals from Aminu Adams and Abdul Razak Salifu. The Still Believe lads have now scored four goals in their last two FA Cup matches, following a 2-1 win over Semper FI in the Round of 64.

At the Berekum Golden City Park, Richard Yeboah and Ben Dauda Sidibe scored in either half as Aduana FC brushed aside Berekum Arsenal 2-0 to make it to the next round of the competition.
