Zone One B leaders Debibi United suffered their second defeat of the season, going down 3-2 to in-form KAC Soccer Academy in a thrilling encounter at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Friday. Leslie Aryeetey put on a sensational display, firing the hosts into a commanding first-half lead with strikes in the 6th and 21st minutes.

Debibi United responded strongly after the break as Kwadwo Antwi scored twice in quick succession (47′, 49′) to level the game. However, Aryeetey completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute to secure all three points for KAC Soccer Academy. The victory lifts KAC to 28 points from 13 matches, just three points behind the league leaders.

Real Tamale United closed the gap at the summit of Zone One A after grinding out a 1-0 win over Northern City FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday. A tense first half ended goalless before Samuel Lamptey struck the decisive goal in the 66th minute. RTU now sit on 25 points from 13 matches, four points adrift of leaders Tamale City FC.

Techiman Liberty Youth’s struggles continued in Zone One B as they slipped to a dramatic 4-3 defeat against Dormaa Unity FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Sunday. It was their fifth loss of the season and a seventh straight league game without a win.

William Addo stole the headlines with an outstanding four-goal haul for Dormaa Unity FC. Techiman Liberty Youth fought back through a brace from Fuseini Zackaria and a 75th-minute strike by Yeboah Kennedy, but their rally fell short.
