Black Satellites winger Forster Apetorgbor has declared that they are fully focused and ready to give everything when they face Benin in a crucial Group A fixture of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Championship on Wednesday, July 17.

Speaking ahead of the match, Forster made the team’s mission crystal clear: “We’re just going all out for a win against Benin.” With qualification to the semi-finals hanging in the balance, Ghana need at least a draw to advance, while Benin must win to stand any chance of progressing.

Forster, who impressed in Ghana’s 1-1 draw with Nigeria in the opening game, emphasized the squad’s determination to deliver a positive result and book a spot in the next stage of the tournament. “We’ve worked hard in training, and the team spirit is high. We know what’s at stake and we are not going to let this opportunity slip,” he added.

The match, which will take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, is expected to be fiercely contested, with both sides aware that a place in the semi-finals — and a step closer to qualification for the Africa U20 Cup of Nations — is on the line.

The Black Satellites have shown promise under head coach Desmond Ofei, and Forster’s pace and creativity on the flanks could prove vital as Ghana look to break down a Benin side desperate to bounce back from their 4-1 defeat to Nigeria.
