Famous Manchester United fan Frank Illett, popularly known as ‘The United Strand’, has jokingly revealed that Ruben Amorim apologised to him after the former Red Devils boss failed to win five consecutive matches during his time in charge at Old Trafford.
Illett, who has over 1.5 million followers on Instagram, started a challenge back in 2024, vowing not to cut his hair until Manchester United won five games in a row. The passionate fan made the vow just days before Erik ten Hag was relieved of his duties at United.
