Vaibhav Sooryavanshi IPL 2026 Salary, Earnings and Prize Money

Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had a 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) to remember after enjoying a breakout season with the bat. The 15-year-old won numerous individual accolades following the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, May 31. 

The RR opener went on to score 776 runs at an unbelievable strike-rate of 237.30, whilst averaging 48.50. 

Sooryavanshi was in attendance during the final, knowing that he was due to win multiple awards during the closing ceremony. The left-handed batter went on to win as many as five awards – the Orange Cap, Most Valuable Player (MVP), Super Striker of the Season, Super Sixes of the Season and the Emerging Player award. 

With all these honours coming his way, Sooryavanshi pocketed a large sum of earnings during the 2026 IPL season, on top of his base salary of INR 1.10 crore, the amount RR picked him for during the 2025 mega auction. The youngster won as much as INR 55 lakh after the IPL final, along with a Tata SUV, which he will not be able to drive for another three years. 

Here is a list of all the prize money Vaibhav Sooryavanshi received after winning multiple individual honours:

Orange Cap (Highest run-scorer)  INR 10 lakh
Super Striker of the Season INR 10 lakh plus Tata SUV
Super Sixes of the Season INR 10 lakh
Emerging Player of the Season INR 10 lakh

It is also worth mentioning that Sooryavanshi would have received match fees worth INR 7.50 lakhs per game during the course of the IPL season. He played 16 matches in the tournament, which equates to another INR 1.20 crore.

His total earnings from the 2026 IPL season total more than INR 2.50 crore, which also includes the numerous post-match awards that he would have received, like Player of the Match, Electric Striker of the Match or Most Sixes of the Match, which are all worth INR 1 lakh.
