The Upper East Regional Football Association (UERFA) has announced that its Ordinary Congress will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the House of Chiefs in Bolgatanga. The event is scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m.

The Ordinary Congress, a key statutory engagement on the regional football calendar, will bring together all stakeholders to review the activities of the past season and set the tone for the 2025/26 football campaign. It serves as the highest decision-making platform of the regional football association.

Delegates expected to attend include representatives from Division Two clubs, Women’s Division One sides, juvenile teams, referees, coaches, and district football associations. The meeting will also discuss strategic plans for the continued growth of football in the Upper East Region.

Alhaji Salifu Seidu Zida, Chairman of the Upper East RFA, is expected to use the opportunity to highlight achievements over the past year, outline upcoming programs, and encourage stakeholders to collaborate toward improving football development at the grassroots level.

The Congress promises to be an important gathering for charting the way forward for football in the region, which continues to produce promising talents and competitive clubs for the national stage.
