The congress, which officially ushers in the new football season, brought together key stakeholders including club administrators, District Football Association chairmen, representatives from the Referees and Coaches Associations, players, and other constituent bodies.

In his address, the Chairman of the Upper East Regional Football Association, Alhaji Salifu Seidu Zida urged clubs to remain united and collaborative in their efforts to ensure the smooth and effective running of football activities across the region. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and discipline in sustaining the growth of the game.
