Sports and Recreation Minister Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams paid a morale-boosting visit to the Black Queens’ final training session on Thursday evening.

The Minister, accompanied by the Ministry’s senior technical Advisor, Betty Krosbi Mensah, Black Queens Management members, top officials from the Ministry, and the Ghana Football Association (GFA), interacted with the technical team and players after an intense training session.

Hon. Minister Adams commended the team for their determination, discipline, and resilience throughout the tournament, stressing that the entire nation remains proud of their efforts.

“You have shown great character and represented Ghana with dignity. Tomorrow’s match is another opportunity to make the nation proud, and we believe in your ability to finish strong,” Hon. Adams said.

He further assured the team of the government’s and the Ghanaian people’s backing. Team officials and players warmly welcomed the Minister’s visit, which served as a timely source of motivation as the Queens prepare to face a strong Banyana Banyana side in the battle for the bronze medal.

The crucial third-place match is scheduled for tomorrow, July 25, at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, Casablanca, at 19:00 GMT.
