The parade will start from Vidhana Soudha at 3:30 PM IST and will continue until it reaches M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCBโs home ground.
Kohli, too, looked very excited about visiting Bengaluru after winning the coveted trophy. โItโs going to be something special,โ said Kohli, inviting his former RCB teammates and to be part of the celebrations with fans in Bengaluru.
โThe city is waiting. My god. Iโm thinking about them. Imagine what the fans must be feeling now, poor ones. Someone sent me a video โ the entire city is filled with fireworks. The whole city. Itโs very special. I canโt express my feelings. I have to experience it,โ he added.
An emotionally charged Kohli also reflected on his bond with the fans and credited their loyalty as a key reason he stayed back with RCB for 18 years. โI said it straight away โ this is as much for the fans as it is for us.
