Martin Zubimendi Arsenal :Gunners to Seal £55m Deal in 48 Hours

Arsenal are making important decisions in the ongoing summer transfer window. Arsenal are now planning to complete the signing of Martin Zubimendi in the next 48 hours. Although The deal worth £55 million is already done, the official announcement is going to happen in next 24-48 hours. However, Mikel Arteta wants to strengthen his team with more signings. In this case, The arrival of Zubimendi is a big news to the Gunners and their fans.

The deal of Martin Zubimendi is expected to cost £55 million. The agreement between clubs is done. Also, Personal terms have been agreed with the player. According to Journalists, Minor Formalities are remaining and then official announcement will be done. The Midfielder from spain was on Arsenal’s Shortlist from a long time. They like his intelligence, composure, work ethic. Arsenal feel that he is the perfect player for their team. He can replace Arsenal player Thomas Partey for long term. The gunners believe that he can complement Rice in their Midfield. Also, They have now strong team depth which will help them in their long season including Champions League.

Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta was asked about Zubimendi in a press conference and he replied, “Martin is a player I’ve followed for a long time. He’s calm, disciplined, and reads the game incredibly well. He can control the rhythm, and that’s what we need moving forward.”

Arsenal fans will hope that Zubimendi will bring stability to their team. Also, it is expected that he will be unveiled at Emirates Stadium before pre season tour. This will give him time to practice with the team and adapt to a new league.

Sociedad did not want to let Martin go. However as Arsenal have activated the release clause, the Spanish club do not have much options. Despite their disappointment they have respected the player’s decision to leave.

Club President said in a statement, “Martin has given everything to Real Sociedad. He’s a model professional and a product of our academy. While we would have loved to keep him, we understand his desire to take the next step in his career.”

Their Head Coach also said that, “It’s never easy to lose a player like Zubimendi. His intelligence and leadership were key for us. But we respect his decision and wish him the best in England.”

The club is now planning to invest this money in new players. However, replacing a player like Martin would be hard for them.

The 26 year old Midfielder from spain is ready for a new challenge in his career. Although he has not said anything about this deal as of now. However, sources close to him tell that he is excited to join Arsenal and work under Mikel Arteta. He wanted to join Premier League and also Play in the Champions League. Thus, Arsenal’s offer lured him.

In a recent interview he said that, “I’ve always said that I want to grow as a footballer. Sometimes that means making difficult decisions. I have great memories at Real Sociedad, but I also dream big.” Therefore, he has given hints about his future.

The signing of Martin Zubimendi is a big news for Arsenal and their fans. They feel that they got a really top player at a fair price. Also, they plan to pay the money to Real Sociedad in installments. This will help them to balance their bills.
