Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly among the Premier League clubs that could claim over £100 million each in compensation after an independent commission found Manchester City guilty on 114 of the 115 charges brought against them in the league’s long-running financial rules case.
The landmark ruling concluded a long-term investigation into Manchester City‘s finances. The independent panel found the club guilty of 114 charges relating to financial rule breaches between 2009 and 2018, including allegations of inaccurate financial reporting, undisclosed remuneration and failures to cooperate with the Premier League’s investigation.
