IPL 2026 Memes: Hilarious Reactions from SRH vs RCB, Match 67 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 55 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Friday, May 22.

Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first. Sunrisers Hyderabad needed to win by a huge margin to make their net run rate better than that of the Challengers.

Abhishek Sharma smashed 56 runs off 22 balls after Travis Head was dismissed for a quickfire cameo. Ishan Kishan continued from where he left off in the last game, smashing 79 off 46 balls. Heinrich Klaasen also played a blinder, scoring 51 off 24 balls. Nitish Kumar Reddy faced just 12 balls, but he too made a significant impact, smashing 29 runs.

The Orange Army posted a mammoth target of 255/4 in 20 overs. They needed to win by 90 runs or more to make it to the top two.

Venkatesh Iyer opened alongside Virat Kohli and slammed 44 off just 19 balls. The former India captain had a rare blip, getting dismissed for 15. Devdutt Padikkal played decently for his 14-ball 21.

Krunal Pandya and Rajat Patidar joined forces and forged an 84-run stand off 57 balls. Patidar, who usually starts his innings better than most batters, looked quite conservative, as it seemed that RCB were content with securing a spot in the top two.

After Patidar was dismissed for 56 off 39 balls, Krunal (41*) and Tim David (15*) finished unbeaten, with RCB getting to 200/4 in 20 overs. They lost the match but ensured a top-of-the-table finish. Sunrisers didn’t help their cause by being lacklustre on the field. Eshan Malinga was the pick of the bowlers, bagging two wickets for 33 runs. Patidar was dropped off his bowling twice in the 16th over.
