The Punjab Kings (PBKS) have a lot on the line when they travel to face the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Match 68 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Saturday, May 23.

LSG will want to finish a torrid season with a win in front of their home fans. Rishabh Pant’s side are at the foot of the standings with just eight points from 13 matches. They did, however, beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings on home soil.

PBKS, on the other hand, are ending the league phase in the worst manner possible. Last year’s finalists have lost six matches on the bounce to drop out of the playoff spots. They do, however, still have an outside chance of qualifying should Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders lose their games.

As is the case with most IPL matches this season, LSG vs PBKS will also provide opportunities for players from both camps to achieve milestones on a personal level. For players, surpassing T20 landmarks is due to the sheer amount of games cricketers play in the shortest format.

Here are the important upcoming milestones for players of both teams:

LSG Players’ Upcoming Milestones:

  • Josh Inglis: Needs 28 runs for 500 IPL runs
  • Josh Inglis: Needs 1 four for 50 IPL fours
  • Rishabh Pant: Needs 4 catches for 150 T20 catches
  • Rishabh Pant: Needs 4 fours to reach 350 IPL fours
  • Ayush Badoni: Needs 40 runs for 2,000 T20 runs
  • Ayush Badoni: Needs 6 sixes for 50 IPL sixes

PBKS’ Players’ Upcoming Milestones:

  • Priyansh Arya: Needs 1 fifty for 10 T20 fifties
  • Prabhsimran Singh: Needs 8 sixes for 100 IPL sixes
  • Cooper Connolly: Needs 5 fours 100 T20 fours
  • Cooper Connolly: Needs 27 runs for 500 IPL runs
  • Shreyas Iyer: Needs 25 runs for 7,000 T20 runs
  • Marcus Stoinis: Needs 4 wickets for 50 IPL wickets
  • Lockie Ferguson: Needs 4 wickets for 250 T20 wickets
