Hohoe United amassed the most points (72) as champions in Zone Three of the Access Bank Division One League this season in 30 matches.
The Hohoe-based club won 23 games, lost 4, and drew 3 matches, with 5 points separating them from Port City, who finished in second place with 67 points. The Ghana Football Association granted approval for the change of name from Liberty Professionals to Hohoe United in June 2023, after they were relegated from the league in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League.
The newly promoted side had a better record over teams like Port City, Okwahu United, Great Olympics, Rainmasters, Na God, Home Stars, Golden Kick, and Attram De Visser.
In the last four seasons, teams like Accra Lions, Kotoku Royals, Heart of Lions, and Vision FC have qualified from Zone Three to compete in the Ghana Premier League.
Officially, Hohoe United will be crowned champions on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in their coronation game against Home Stars at the Hohoe Stadium.
