Former Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has heaped praise on Noni Madueke after the Gunners’ 1-0 win over Hull City. While he considers Madueke ‘frustrating’ at times, Walcott saluted the forward for doing the things that nobody else in Mikel Arteta’s squad does.
Madueke was Arsenal’s liveliest attacker on a labored afternoon at the Emirates Stadium, and his saved shot produced the only goal of the game. Martin Odegaard reacted quickest in the 72nd minute, turning home the rebound after Konstantinos Tzolakis parried Madueke’s left-footed strike.
