Dianna Russini is expected to return to NFL reporting as soon as next week, according to a Front Office Sports report published Friday. Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported Wednesday that Russini has begun telling people around the league she will be back “next week.”
However, the report also identified the major hurdle in her way. According to the report, Russini, who resigned from her role with The Athletic amid allegations of an affair with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel, needs a “big scoop.”
