The Club Licensing Department has released the timetable for all domestic club licensing application processes ahead of the 2026/27 football season, outlining key dates and compliance requirements for clubs across the country.

The Football Association will officially open the Club Licensing Application process on Monday, June 20, 2026, marking the beginning of preparations for clubs seeking participation in the upcoming season’s competitions.

As part of the licensing process, a Club Licensing Workshop involving clubs from the Ghana Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, and the Women’s Premier League will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

The inspection phase of the process will commence on Friday, July 10, 2026, with officials scheduled to conduct assessments of match venues and training facilities for all Ghana Premier League clubs. These inspections form a crucial component of the licensing process, ensuring that clubs meet the infrastructure and operational standards set by the Football Association.

Meanwhile, clubs participating in the Premier League and the Division One League have been reminded that the deadline for submitting their applications through the online licensing platform is Monday, August 24, 2026. Clubs are encouraged to complete and submit all required documentation before the deadline to facilitate a smooth review and approval process.
