Assistant Referee Theophilus Akugre has earned an appointment to officiate at the upcoming WAFU Zone B U20 Championship in Ivory Coast, marking another significant achievement in his officiating career and reinforcing Ghana’s growing presence in international football refereeing.
Akugre will represent Ghana at the prestigious regional tournament scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 10, 2026. His selection is a reflection of his dedication, consistency and impressive performances in domestic and international competitions over the years.
