The night on Sunday, May 31, was a sight to behold for all the fans of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Virat Kohli as the batter helped the franchise defend their IPL 2026 title against the Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. RCB won the grand finale by five wickets and two overs to spare as Virat hit the winning shot to end with an unbeaten 75 off just 42 balls in the euphoric night.

A bunch of celebrities and public figures had gathered at the gigantic venue to witness RCB lift the trophy for the second time to stamp their legacy in the most glamorous T20 cricket league across the globe. The first popular person to have graced the stage where more than a hundred and twenty thousand fans were in presence at the venue was highly acclaimed Bollywood classical singer Kailash Kher, who performed a soulful and musical act between both innings.

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was also spotted in the stands, cheering for her husband Virat Kohli’s side in the summit clash. She also reached the ground and was a part of the victory celebrations alongside the star cricketer and other RCB players and support staff after the spectacular win at the world’s biggest cricket stadium.

The chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC), Jay Shah, who also happens to be a board member of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) and former BCCI secretary, also marked his presence at the final between RCB and GT. He was spotted seating alongside Sourav Ganguly, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, current BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia and other BCCI dignitaries.

Rajeev Shukla, often known as the omnipresent personality, was also in attendance at the Narendra Modi Stadium for the biggest match of the year. Local performers from Gujarat – Arvind Vegda and Devanshi Shah – also graced the stage with a performance during the final. Meanwhile, many former cricketers were also at the ground, either as part of the broadcasting team or as viewers to witness the game from the stands.
