British broadcaster Piers Morgan said that Cristiano Ronaldo left the Portugal set-up midway through their UEFA Nations League campaign after feeling disrespected by head coach Jorge Jesus.
As per Morgan, the veteran manager promised Ronaldo that he would play the entire 90 minutes in the 1-0 campaign-opening win over Wales. Jesus also told Ronaldo that he would feature for 30 minutes in the victory over Norway on the road.
