Freddie Ljungberg has singled out Lisandro Martinez for criticism after Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat at Chelsea, saying the centre-back’s behaviour made him feel sick.
Martinez was sent off in the 63rd minute at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, after receiving a second yellow card for catching Wesley Fofana with a raised arm. Cole Palmer converted the penalty to make it 2-0, four minutes after Morgan Rogers had surged through the middle of United’s defence and dinked the ball over Senne Lammens.
