The Ghana Football Association’s Club Licensing Department has reminded all 48 Division One League clubs that Sunday, August 9, 2026, is the final deadline for the submission of applications for the 2026/27 Club Licensing process.

All participating clubs are required to complete their Club Licensing applications and upload every mandatory supporting document through the Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) on or before the stipulated deadline.

The Department has stressed that no extension will be granted beyond Sunday, August 9, and has urged clubs to treat the deadline with the utmost importance.

Clubs that fail to submit complete applications within the prescribed period will be subject to the sanctions outlined in the GFA Club Licensing Regulations. These sanctions may include, among other disciplinary measures, being declared ineligible to participate in the 2026/27 Division One League season.

To ensure a smooth and efficient licensing process, the Club Licensing Department will continue to monitor the progress of submissions and provide the necessary support to clubs where required. Clubs are, however, strongly encouraged to complete and submit their applications well ahead of the deadline to facilitate timely review and assessment while avoiding last-minute technical or administrative challenges.
