Daniil Medvedev drew ire from tennis fans after a fan was injured during the China Open match against Novak Djokovic. The two former World No. 1s were contesting for a place in the Beijing final.
Down 7-5, 5-3, Medvedev was seen swatting away a ball that was already out of play. However, the ball ended up hitting a spectator sitting in the front row in the face. The fan, who complained of pain in the eye, was later escorted out of the stadium.
