Carlos Alcaraz has missed out on a significant chunk of the bonus money attached to the ATP 500 prize pool after his Vienna Open triumph. Alcaraz beat Alex De Minaur 6-1, 6-4 in Sunday’s final, yet it is De Minaur who leaves Austria with the bigger overall payday from the tour’s season-long 500-level scheme.
The title was Alcaraz’s third at ATP 500 level this season, after Doha in February and Tokyo four weeks ago, and his fourth trophy of 2026 after the Australian Open. He did not drop a set across five matches in Vienna and closed out the final on his first match point in 97 minutes, extending his perfect record against De Minaur to seven wins from seven meetings. The Spaniard earned €523,305 in prize money for his victory, while De Minaur pocketed €281,540 as the runner-up.
