The Black Maidens have departed Accra for Monrovia, Liberia ahead of the second leg of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Liberia.

The team travelled aboard Asky Air on Tuesday as preparations intensify for the crucial return fixture.

A total of 24 players and 14 officials made the trip, alongside two management members, as Ghana aims to complete the qualification task following an impressive first-leg performance.

The technical team is expected to continue final preparations upon arrival in Monrovia ahead of the encounter, with the Maidens determined to maintain their strong form and secure progression to the next stage of the qualifiers.

The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers remain a key competition for the Black Maidens as Ghana continues its pursuit of another appearance on the global stage.
