Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars will face Algerian side JS Kabylie in the 1st preliminary round of the 2025/26 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League campaign.

GoldStars will host the 1st leg in Ghana from September 19 to 21, before traveling to Algeria for the decisive return fixture from September 26 to 28. The Bibiani lads will meet the winner of the tie between East End Lions of Sierra Leone and Tunisia’s US Monastir in the second preliminary round if they progress.

The second preliminary round is scheduled to take place from October 17 to 19 for the first leg, and October 24 to 26 for the return fixture. The aggregate winner will secure a coveted spot in the group stage of Africa’s premier club competition.

With their Ghana Premier League title win, GoldStars is poised to make history on the continental stage, chasing a possible maiden CAF Champions League glory in their debut appearance.
