Berekum Arsenal secured their first win of the season with a 2-0 triumph over former Premier League side Legon Cities at the Golden City Park on Friday. Gideon Gyan stole the show, netting twice in the 68th and 74th minutes to seal the victory.

In Tamale, city rivals Tamale City and Real Tamale United battled to a goalless draw at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. Both sides created chances but failed to capitalize, with Tamale City’s Victor Kodom emerging as Player of the Match for his commanding display.

Debibi United picked up a hard-fought 1-0 win over Victory Club Warriors, recording their first league victory since defeating Eleven Wonders in May. Kwadwo Antwi struck the decisive goal in the 65th minute to hand the hosts all three points.
