Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta took to X to celebrate PBKS’ five-wicket win in IPL 2025 Qualifier 2 against Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Zinta was at the venue and was elated after PBKS got over the line in a tense run-chase.
She posted PBKS’ X post on her feed with a caption: “Wow what a win. Punjabi aa gaye oye.” Zinta has previously attended only one IPL final up until now, PBKS’ (then KXIP) first against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014 in Bengaluru, which had ended in heartbreak for the George Bailey-led side.Ā

PBKS will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the same venue as Qualifier 2 on Tuesday, June 3. Both sides would be desperate to put on a good show when it matters the most and win their first silverware after 18 seasons.
