Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister’s father, Carlos, believes Argentina should rotate Lionel Messi‘s #10 jersey before settling on one player. He wants players to have a chance to earn the number on their back.
Speaking to ESPN, Carlos Mac Allister said he does not want the jersey’s pressure to fall on one player, as he will be taking over from Messi. He does not want the decision to be made the day after the legendary footballer retires and said:
