Andoni Iraola says the ankle injury that forced Florian Wirtz off during Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion does not look serious, although the midfielder will be assessed before the Reds’ next game.
Wirtz went down in discomfort after stretching to halt a Brighton attack on the edge of his own penalty area and received treatment before being replaced by Trey Nyoni after 65 minutes at Anfield on Sunday.
