Ashley Young has criticised Bruno Fernandes for the way he reacted to being dropped, saying it was not the response expected of a Manchester United captain.
Fernandes was named among the substitutes for Sunday’s Premier League home game against Bournemouth, four days after questioning Michael Carrick’s tactics in the 4-1 Champions League defeat at Como. Harry Maguire wore the armband in his place.
