On Monday, former Miami Marlins president David Samson called out Junior Caminero in a video he uploaded to his YouTube channel.
Though Caminero is undoubtedly one of the Rays’ most important players, his name came into the spotlight for the wrong reasons after Game 2 of the World Series, as he was spotted yelling at teammates in the dugout during the game. Speaking to reporters postgame, he also subtly called out some of his teammates for struggling to deal with the pressure of big games.
Samson took issue with this, explaining why Caminero‘s comments and attitude could be concerning for the Rays’ front office.
