Michael Carrick said he does not know what comes next for him at Manchester United after Sunday’s 3-0 home defeat by Bournemouth extended the club’s winless run to eight matches in all competitions.
Manchester United were two down by half-time at Old Trafford, with Rayan and Marcus Tavernier scoring, and Evanilson added a third on 71 minutes. Carrick’s side have won two of 12 matches this season and sit 16th in the Premier League. Carrick left Bruno Fernandes on the bench and gave the armband to Harry Maguire, calling it “a football decision”.
