The 2026 Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship continues on Saturday with a host of exciting fixtures scheduled across two pitches at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Following a competitive opening day that produced impressive performances and promising talents, teams will return to action eager to strengthen their positions in the tournament and catch the attention of scouts and technical observers.

The morning session on Pitch 1 will see the Upper East Region face the Greater Accra Region at 9:00am, before the Brong Ahafo Region take on the Upper West Region at 10:00am.

On Pitch 2, the Northern Region will clash with Elite Academy – Achimota SHS at 9:00am in what promises to be one of the standout matches of the morning. The Volta Region will then come up against the Western Region at 10:00am.

The afternoon fixtures are equally compelling. On Pitch 1, the Central Region will battle Elite Academy – Prempeh College at 3:00pm, while the Northern Region takes on the Ashanti Region at 4:00pm.

Pitch 2 will host a fascinating encounter between the Eastern Region and Elite Academy – Bolgatanga SHS at 3:00pm. The day will conclude with Western Region facing Elite Academy – Achimota SHS at 4:00pm.

Unlike conventional tournaments where the emphasis is solely on results, the Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship places a premium on talent identification and player development. The competition format has therefore been structured to allow participants more opportunities to play and showcase their abilities.

Each match lasts 40 minutes, ensuring that every player gets sufficient playing time to be assessed by coaches, scouts and technical experts as Ghana continues its efforts to develop the next generation of football stars through FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme.
