The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has retained Executive Council member Gideon Fosu as Chairman of the Management Committee of the Black Princesses, the U-20 Women’s National Team.

Mr. Fosu will be assisted by Alhaji Yahaya Sadugu, Chairman of the Upper West Regional Football Association, who takes up the role of Vice Chairman. John O. Yeboah and Paul Anyaba join as new members of the committee, while veteran administrator Takyi Arhin has also been retained on the panel.

The Black Princesses are currently stepping up preparations for their crucial 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Tunisia. The first leg is scheduled to be played in Tunis on September 20, with the return leg to take place eight days later in Accra.

The retention and strengthening of the Management Committee form part of the GFA’s strategy to ensure effective support for the technical team and players as the Black Princesses aim to secure qualification for another FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The GFA remains confident that under the leadership of Gideon Fosu and his team, the Black Princesses will receive the necessary backing to excel in the qualifiers and beyond.
