The race for semifinal places is heating up in the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B Qualifiers, with the latest standings from Group A and Group B.

In Group B, where Ghana Police Ladies are grouped, Bayelsa Queens sit top with six points from two matches, scoring five goals and conceding just one, making them the strongest side so far in the qualifiers.

Ghana’s Police Ladies and Benin’s Sam Nelly FC are tied on three points apiece, but the Police sit second thanks to a superior goal difference (+1). Their crucial 3–1 victory over Sam Nelly revived their campaign after an opening setback.

At the bottom, ASKO (Togo) remain without a point after two defeats, having conceded four goals without reply, leaving their qualification hopes hanging by a thread.

In Group A, hosts ASEC Mimosas (Côte d’Ivoire) and USFA (Burkina Faso) are level at the summit with three points each after winning their opening matches. Meanwhile, AS GNN (Niger) have exited the competition after two straight losses.

AS GNN (Niger), meanwhile, have played two matches but remain without a point and are out of the competition.

The final round of group fixtures promises high stakes, with Police Ladies set to face AS Kozah (Togo) on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in a decisive clash for a place in the semifinals.
