A fierce West African rivalry will be rekindled on Sunday as the Black Satellites face the Young Elephants of Ivory Coast in the semi-finals of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Cup. The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:00 GMT at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Ivory Coast have been in scintillating form in the tournament, sealing their spot in the semi-finals with a flawless group stage campaign. They wrapped up Group B with a commanding 2-0 victory over Togo on Thursday, securing three wins from three and topping their group with maximum points.

Ghana, on the other hand, battled through a tougher Group A. After a 1-1 draw with Nigeria and a crucial 1-0 win over Benin, the Black Satellites finished second in their group on four points — the same as Nigeria but with an inferior goal difference.

This highly anticipated clash promises excitement and intensity, with a place in the final on the line. Ghana will look to build on their momentum and home advantage, while Ivory Coast aim to continue their unbeaten run.

In the other semi-final match, Nigeria will face Niger at 15:00 GMT earlier on the same day. Nigeria topped Group A, while Niger secured second spot in Group B after a hard-fought campaign.
