The Gunners are currently looking for new replacements in their position of defensive midfield ahead of the new season. Arsenal are currently in the race to sign long-term replacements in the place of Thomas Partey. He is set to leave the Gunners ahead of the next season. After a series of failed talks for an extension in his contract along the North Londoners. The Gunners have looked at several options to make their midfield stronger and have identified a proper replacement for that position. The Gunners have submitted an official bit to sign Brentford captain Christian Norgaard. Arsenal’s boss Mikel Arteta and director Edu have identified the most suitable player to fill the spot for the team. It is reported by The Athletic, that Arsenal has made an official bid of £9.3 million for the player. This move comes from the Emirates after failed contract talks with Thomas Partey.

At the age of 31 years, he might not be an ideal player that is in place for a long-term investment. But the stock of quality he brings in would be the most perfect for the Gunners. As they need a proper replacement in place for Thomas Partey. Nørgaard is known for his fine ability for passing, maintaining position under pressure, and good game sense. Making him an ideal player to fit the ranks of the Gunners squad. Last season the player completed a total of 85% successful passes along with important tackles and interceptions for his team. He has been one of the most underrated midfielders in the Premier League for many seasons now. The Danish international has been in the target for the Gunners for two years now but did not submit an official bid. But the exit of Partey has helped the Gunners to submit.

After playing and delivering for the Gunners in the last 5 seasons. The player was expected to renew his contract for another term after positive talks with boss Arteta. But the significant roadblocks to a new deal have made him almost sure of his potential exit from the club. As his current contract is set to expire on the 30th of June. The Gunners are ready to leave him for the right prices if they get a proper sum. This has attracted the interest of clubs from the Saudi Pro League. As the summer exit seems highly likely now. As a result, the Gunners have submitted an official bid for new backups and replacements. With the likes of Christian Nørgaard and already signed Martin Zubimendi. To strengthen their squad for the next season of 2025-26.

Arsenal have made an official bid of £9.3 million for Christian Nørgaard to Brentford. While Brentford has not yet responded to the offer from the Gunners. But reports indicate that they value Nørgaard close to about £12 million. Norgaard signed a new contract with the Bees in March, keeping him at the club until 2027. The midfielder is thought to be “keen” on moving to Emirates Stadium, reports David Ornstein. With Partey set to exit, Nørgaard is ready to take his spot in the Emirates for the Gunners. As they look to complete the sign a striker with link between Gyökeres and Šeško.

Christian Nørgaard, is one of the most underrated names in Premier League football. If this potential deal comes through this can be an excellent deal for the Gunners. His qualities and skills along with his experience can be a vital point for the Gunners.
