The 2025/26 MTN FA Cup will kick off on the weekend of October 24, 2025,  and end on May 31, 2026. The dates are in alignment with the 23rd FIFA World Cup, scheduled for June 11 to July 19, 2026, ensuring that all elite domestic competitions conclude before the commencement of the global showpiece.

With Congress set for August 12, 2025, the Ghana Football Association will ensure that the MTN FA Cup starts on time and ends in May 2026, in line with the approved FIFA calendar for all Member Associations.

Only selected matches in the Round of 64 and the Round of 63 may be played midweek, while all Women’s FA Cup matches will take place on weekends.

The GFA is committed to the effective execution of this calendar to ensure a vibrant, competitive, and well-coordinated football season across all levels.
