The Football Association has announced the schedule for the 2026/27 Division One League season, with the campaign set to kick off over the weekend of September 18–21, 2026 across all three zones.
The new season will run until May 24, 2027, spanning 30 match weekends as clubs battle for promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
The league will retain its established three-zone format, with Zone One split into Zone 1A and Zone 1B, each comprising eight teams, while Zone Two and Zone Three will each feature 16 clubs.
A total of 10 newly promoted clubs will participate in the Division One League this season after securing qualification.
In Zone 1A, Kalibi SC joins the competition, while Steadfast FC, Techiman Eleven Wonders and Bactero FC strengthen Zone 1B.
Zone Two welcomes Ebiemo FC, Fetteman FC and Pro Sports Academy, while Kotoku Royals, Nukunu Sporting Academy and 7th Wave FC will compete in Zone Three.
With a blend of experienced campaigners and ambitious newcomers, the 2026/27 Division One League promises another fiercely contested season as clubs vie for promotion to Ghana’s top flight.
