Gary Lineker has opened up about Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso’s future at the club. He said that the Spaniard needs to work on the club’s defensive issues to succeed.
The Blues appointed Alonso as their new head coach at the end of last season, but he started working in the summer. They have played seven games across competitions under him, winning four, losing two, and drawing one. They have scored 18 goals in those games, but also conceded 15.
