X1 Energy Drink has been unveiled as the Official Headline Sponsor of the Division One League Super Cup.

The partnership was officially launched earlier at a colourful ceremony held at the GFA headquarters on Friday, April 17, 2026, in the presence of Executive Council members, senior management staff, representatives of X1 Energy Drink, and other invited guests.

The sponsorship which will run for five years, will see X1 Energy Drink provide annual financial support and products for the Division One League Super Cup, underlining the company’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of football in Ghana.

The partnership represents another significant milestone in the GFA’s efforts to attract corporate investment into the game and strengthen the commercial appeal of its competitions. The Division One League Super Cup, which brings together the top-performing clubs from the country’s second-tier league, has become an important platform for showcasing emerging talent and promoting competitive football.

The sponsorship demonstrates growing confidence from the corporate sector in the GFA’s leadership and its efforts to create value-driven opportunities for brands while advancing the development of the sport.

X1 Energy Drink through this partnership has emphasised their desire to contribute to the growth of football and support athletes striving to reach higher levels of the game.

The sponsorship is expected to enhance the profile of the Division One League Super Cup while providing additional resources to improve the organization and promotion of the competition.

With the addition of X1 Energy Drink to its growing family of partners, the GFA continues to make significant strides in securing sustainable investments aimed at strengthening football development across all levels of the game in Ghana.
