WPL Points Table 2026: Royal Challengers Bengaluru became the first team among the five franchises to qualify for the play-offs after the Smriti Mandhana-led side crushed the Gujarat Giants by 61 runs on Monday. Opting to bowl first, the Giants started well with early wickets but couldn’t contain RCB as Gautami Naik slammed 73 with support from Richa Ghosh and Radha Yadav,  helped Bengaluru reach 178/6 after 20 overs. Chasing, Gujarat were in trouble early in after losing 3 wickets for just 5 runs with big hitters Beth Mooney, Sophie Devine and Kanika Ahuja all sent back. Only Gujarat captain Ash Gardner played a lone hand with 54 but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals as they ultimately reached 117/8 after 20 overs. Sayali Satghare was the pick of the RCB bowlers, taking 3 wickets. In the points table, RCB are currently first and have a considerable distance with all their competitors. Mumbai Indians, UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants have all played 5 and lost 3 matches and are on 4 points with the race of the play-offs wide open with 3 slots remaining. MI are slightly ahead of the other 3 teams due to net run rate while Delhi Capitals are lodged in the bottom with just 2 points and from 4 matches. Coming to the Orange and Purple Cap race, UP Warriorz Phoebe Litchfield is currently the highest run getter while RCB’s Nadine de Klerk rules the roost among bowlers with 10 wickets. Behind Litchfield is MI captain Harmanpreet Kaur with 199 runs, followed by UPW’s Meg Lanning with 193 runs. RCB’s Mandhana and GG’s Gardner are 4th and 5th with 192 and 191 runs respectively. In the highest wicket-takers’ list, following de Klerk is MI’s Amelia Kerr with 10 wickets as well. RCB’s Lauren Bell is 3rd with 9 wickets while DC’s Nandni Sharma and GG’s Sophie Devine are 4th and 5th with 9 scalps each.
