Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has hit out at Real Madrid counterpart Jose Mourinho for his comments after the Madrid derby. He called for respect for the referees and for not crossing the line, regardless of status.
Speaking to the media after the win at Metropolitano, Simeone said that managers are in a privileged position and should not exploit it. He was not happy with Mourinho showing images of tackles from Cristian Romero and Kang-In Lee to highlight the referee’s mistakes and said:
