Kansas City Royals pitcher Craig Kimbrel’s brother, Matthew, passed away in a horrifying motorcycle crash in Huntsville, Alabama, on September 19. The 36-year-old took his last breath in the hospital.
The accident took place on Saturday at around 8 a.m., according to NY Post and WCTV. Police investigation reported that Matthew sped up north on U.S. Highway 431 and couldn’t control the motorcycle’s speed.
He crashed hard into a dump truck that was turning onto Cove Commons Drive. Investigators said that Matthew lost control and slid into the truck, leading to the unfortunate accident. Police further added that no criminal charges will be filed after an investigation into the crash.
