Season 3 of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) is set to get underway with much fanfare and fervour. The tournament will commence on October 3 and will run till October 18 in the United Arab Emirates. The two venues for the season are the Dubai International Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Ground.
The 2025 season of the tournament saw South Africa Champions lift their maiden title, beating Pakistan champions, who were also finalists in the 2024 season. The competition has been a showcase for some of the most iconic names of the bygone era, and is expected to serve the same platform this year as well.
The tournament will get underway on October 3 with a marquee clash between India Champions and Australia Champions at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, and will be followed by an all-Asian clash between Pakistan Champions and the newly-formed Bangladesh Champions.Â
Defending champions South Africa Champions will get their campaign underway on October 4 against the West Indies Champions on Sunday, October 4, in Sharjah. The season will consist of 24 matches, of which six will be played in Dubai, while 18 matches, including the two semifinals and final, will be played in Sharjah.
