The 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are taking on the visitors Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad in Match 55 on Monday, May 5. SRH skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to field first. The pacer made use of that choice very well to dismiss the DC batters in quick succession early on.
Meanwhile, Zeeshan Ansari came on to bowl the 13th over of the first innings. The first ball was bowled to the Proteas cricketerĀ Tristan Stubbs. The right-handed batter nudged it off the pads and decided to run a couple. Vipraj Nigam, on the other end, wasnāt interested after the single. But Stubbs kept on running back to the batterās end. But, Nigam stayed outside the crease at the strikerās end, and the South African cricketer went past him.
In the end, SRH fielder Aniket Verma threw the ball to the bowlerās end and the bails were whipped by Ansari. The third umpire checked and decided Nigam had to go back to pavilion as Stubbs reached the batterās end with Nigam out of the crease.
The SRH co-owner Kavya Maran, who was in the stands, gave an animated reaction to the mix-up between the DC batters. She excitedly swung her hands, and urged for a run-out.

Cummins rattles DCĀ
Cummins completely dominated the DC top-order batters through his terrific bowling. The right-arm pacer used the extra bounce and picked up the wickets of Karun Nair, Faf du Plessis and Abishek Porel for meagre runs.
Meanwhile, DC are at the fifth spot in the points table with six wins. They will aim to win this match and increase their chance for the playoffs. SRH are almost on the verge of elimination and currently standing at the ninth in the points table.
